Job Description:
A company is looking for a PRN Profee Coding Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and assign precise codes to ensure accurate
coding aligned with client needs
Conduct data quality reviews of records to assess compliance with
official coding and documentation guidelines
Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues
while maintaining communication with stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Education
1+ year of Profee coding experience (HCC and radiology experience
is a plus)
AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS,
CPC)
Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
Required to take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination and
other assigned testing
Adeptness in remote work and exceptional time management skills
