We are looking for someone who is honest and hardworking for this unique role.Water technician duties include: --- Demolition of affected commercial and residential properties --- Installation of drying equipment --- Application of chemical products in response to the water loss --- Water extraction --- Must be available nights and weekends, as this position will require you to be on-call for emergencies. Expectations: --- Must have a valid driver's license, your own reliable transportation to our shop/client addresses and a clean driving record --- Ability to work in the USA --- Must be able to read and speak fluent English. --- Water restoration and demolition experience preferred (IICRC certifications preferred) --- Mechanically inclined --- Basic math skills --- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance --- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics) --- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time --- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects --- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals --- Must be available nights and weekends, as this position will require you to be on-call for emergencies. --- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable lawPlease send your resume AND a cover letter about why you would be a great fit with Kraus Restoration .
