Job Description:
A company is looking for a Category Manager - Procurement to
lead capital equipment and construction procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project- and category-specific sourcing
plans
Lead sourcing events and negotiations to achieve cost savings
targets
Manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and
contractual obligations are met
Qualifications, Training, and Education
B.S. and/or M.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related
field
Minimum 4 years' experience in Procurement or a Sourcing
environment
Capital sourcing experience preferred, with a focus on Indirect
Sourcing
Experience in evaluating supplier bids and conducting contract
negotiations
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and supply chain management
principles
