Job Description:
A company is looking for a Diabetes NP Manager to oversee
clinical and operational aspects of a diabetes care program while
providing patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care for individuals with diabetes as part of an
interdisciplinary team
Oversee the clinical performance of the diabetes NP team and lead
hiring and training efforts
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve
targeted metrics
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in
primary care or cardiovascular care
Active RN and APRN license with APRN certification required at time
of hire
Five or more years of clinical practice experience as a nurse
practitioner with extensive diabetes/endocrinology experience
Multi-state licensure required, with a willingness to obtain
additional licensure as needed
Active BLS certification required at time of hire
